If you are significantly credit deficient or traditional high school isn't working well for you, it may be a good idea to consider alternate options. Please talk to your counselor if you are interested.
Credit Recovery is offered after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30-5:00 PM on campus. Credit Recovery is offered to current Juniors and Seniors.
Credit Recovery allows students to make up a class they failed that is required for graduation. If you need to make up credits to meet grad requirements, please talk to your counselor about this program. The program is self-paced, and teachers are available to help if needed, as well as to proctor tests.
If you are unable to take Credit Recovery after school at Bear Creek for some reason, you may be able to make up credits through an online provider for a fee. Find out more here.
You can earn elective credits (for credit recovery or advancement) by taking any Delta Early Start or Dual Enrollment Class. Typically, ten credits are earned per semester class. See our Delta page for more information.
You may also be able to take a class through Independence High School while remaining enrolled at Bear Creek. Please talk to your counselor if you are interested in this option.
