About
At Bear Creek High School, we celebrate our students and the BRUIN way!
The BRUIN way reminds our students to
- Be Prepared - Bring all materials, complete all assignments, and/or be ready to work and participate.
- Respect Others - Be kind and courteous, think before you speak, take accountability for your actions, and/or listen.
- Understand Diversity - Be open to new thoughts and ideas, respect differences and opinions, and/or embrace others.
- Interact Positively - Help others if they need it, encourage others, and/or use positive, uplifting language.
- Never Give Up - be persistent and work hard, always strive to do your best, be resilient, and/or be yourself.
Bear Creek High School opened in the fall of 1991 as one of Lodi Unified School District’s comprehensive high schools, serving grades 9-12.
The staff and students value the school’s diverse community and believe that it enriches the teaching and learning experience for all. High standards are held for all, while multiple support services and programs have been developed over the years to ensure the ability of all students to meet those standards. The certificated staff members are highly committed to the school and its students, as are the excellent support staff personnel. The two groups are the centerpiece of our success with students.
Our Mission is for teachers, students, and stakeholders of Bear Creek High School to work together to create a welcoming environment that is safe, academically rigorous, and supports educating the whole student. Students honor and share their unique cultural backgrounds to nurture growth, teamwork, responsibility, and productivity in a climate that fosters pride in diversity.
Our Vision is for all Bear Creek High School students to graduate empowered with the academic and personal skills they need to take responsibility for their college and career ambitions and to mature into productive members of the community.
